Software

Models are only useful if people can run them. These are the public packages I have written or contributed to substantially, most of them used in the papers on this site.

01

Code I've written

Packages I lead, from surrogate, waveform and remnant models to agentic AI for gravitational-wave science.

  • gwModels

    Lead developer

Data-driven and phenomenological models for gravitational waveforms and remnant properties, including the gwNRHME framework that adds higher-order modes to eccentric waveforms.

  • gwAgent

    Lead developer

An LLM-based agentic workflow that builds interpretable analytic surrogate models directly from simulation data.

  • gwBenchmarks

    Lead developer

A benchmark suite that stress-tests LLM agents on high-precision gravitational-wave astronomy tasks, scored with physics-motivated metrics.

  • BHPTNRSurrogate

    Lead developer

Surrogate waveform models built on point-particle perturbation theory and calibrated to numerical relativity, from comparable to extreme mass ratios, with modes up to l = 10.

  • gwtails

    Lead developer

Analysis of late-time tails in post-merger gravitational-wave signals.

  • gwGenealogy

    Lead developer

Binary black hole phenomenology. Samples populations, computes remnant properties, and models hierarchical mergers in dense star clusters.

  • gw_remnant

    Lead developer

Remnant mass, spin, peak luminosity and kick of binary black hole mergers, computed directly from the waveform.

  • BHPTNR_Remnant

    Lead developer

Gaussian-process fits for remnant properties built on NR-calibrated perturbation theory waveforms.

02

Data and catalogs

Public waveform and posterior catalogs for modeling and analysis.

  • Vishveshwara Catalog

    Lead developer

The first public catalog of black-hole perturbation theory simulations: 1,525 time-domain Teukolsky waveforms across 346 binary configurations, including precessing systems.

  • NRSurCat-1

    Major contributor

Posterior samples for 47 binary black hole events from LVK O1 to O3, analyzed with the NRSur7dq4 waveform and remnant models.

03

Code I've contributed to

  • GWSurrogate

    Contributor

The standard Python interface to numerical relativity surrogate waveform models.

  • cogwheel

    Contributor

Parameter estimation for compact binaries with folded coordinates and relative binning; analyzes a binary black hole signal in about 200 seconds.

  • Rapster

    Contributor

Rapid population synthesis of compact-binary coalescences and tidal disruptions in dense star clusters.

  • EMRISurrogate

    Contributor

EMRISur1dq1e4, a surrogate for non-spinning binaries with mass ratios from 3 to 10,000, trained on perturbation theory waveforms.
